born finley joshua stevens on february 15th, 1979 to janette and marcus stevens, fin grew up in a loving and caring household. nothing went wrong for the stevens family until fin turned 10 - the year that his mother was mysteriously murdered. but it wasn’t a mystery at all, not to finley; he had seen what took and killed his mother. something big, something with claws and teeth and a taste for blood. of course, no one believed him, which led the boy to his strange research shortly after janette’s funeral.after his wife’s death, marcus tried to be a good father. and he was, for the most part. he worked a lot, trying to keep their house clean, and food on the table; still, finley ended up being on his own, most days. but when marc was home, they were always happy.hoping not to worry his dad, finley keeps his findings a secret, recording video evidence with the family video camera, that hadn’t been touched since the christmas before janette’s death, so that he can keep track without marcus finding out. once again, everything is normal until finley turns 18. his father disappears. marcus never showed up to work, his car found abandoned on the side of i-90. fin knows this isn’t a normal disappearance, that it couldn’t be a coincidence that he lost both his mother and his father. ever since marcus’s disappearance, finley has been trying to find him, hoping he is still alive, somewhere.he started posting videos on youtube in 2011, hoping that his father might see them and reach out. never, though, did finley think he would get “famous” off of them. many hunters have tried to stop him from posting his videos on the net, to stop him from spreading word of the supernatural world, but they’ve never succeeded.after a few years, he began accepting invitations to vidcons and conventions, as long as they were in the same city as his current case. he has a fanbase, now, one that was helping him fund the hunt for his dad, and so he felt an obligation to continue. fin has never told anyone that he’s searching for marcus, and he doesn’t plan to. that’s his business. all they needed to know was that he hunted monsters, and that he’d help where he was needed.

.  youth.  . any age from 13-25. fin is living with his dad and trying to explain what killed his mother. marcus is often at work, and finley is left at home by himself. at 18, fin starts hunting, after his father goes missing (or, gets taken; fin is sure this is the same thing that murdered his mother). he’s initially trained by an older hunter named jonas, who teaches him everything he knows, though jonas is killed by a vampire shortly after fin's 21st birthday..  main.  . in 2011, finley began the channel hunted video in hopes that his father would see the content and reach out to him. this has gotten him quite a bit of internet fame over the years, though many believe the videos are nothing but a huge and well put together hoax. he travels the united states, hunting and killing monsters, all the while filming documentary-style, full length videos for his channel. he almost always has a camera in hand, or waiting nearby..  truth  . after years of searching — finding blurry stills from cameras and a few strange clues — finley finally finds his father in a small town in maine. but it’s not his father, anymore. marcus stevens has been possessed by an angel, aron, who explains that his father was near dead when he agreed to let him possess his body. aron and marcus have a mutual agreement, since marcus will now die if aron leaves his body for a moment. finley isn't so sure about this until aron lets his father speak, proving that they share one vessel. he's skeptical, but glad that marcus can live happily. fin continues to make his videos, but often visits his father in maine.

.  demon  . possessed by a demon, malick, who has heard of finley stevens, the demon uses fin has a vessel to collect the deals and souls of finley’s fans, as he organizes meet and greets and frequents creator conventions..  men of letters.  . marcus and janette never left the m.o.l., but instead became the best of them. which means that as soon as finley stevens was born, he became a monster hunter legacy. growing up, he learned from the best of the best, but was always taught that all non-human beings were bad. evil. creatures that wanted nothing more than to hurt others. fin found this to be a lie when he was 32- about to take out a werewolf who pleaded with him, told finley that she had a family, that she’d show him her wife and child; their human child. upon seeing the family, finley realized that the men of letters were the bad ones, not the monsters. he goes rogue, and has been on the run ever since..  actor / director.  . after losing his mother and father to cancer, finley makes a beautiful, and terrifying, horror short film about a monster that takes and takes and takes and can never be destroyed. it won several awards, due to using cancer as a metaphor for a horrific creature. after this, finley went on to create, direct, and star in many well-loved horror movies, and has since become an a - list celebrity in the real world..  apocalypse.  .  fin is looking for his dad in the apocalypse. his mother died of cancer when he was a kid, and fin was visiting his dad when the world ended. the two men got separated after marcus pushed fin off of a fire escape to save him from a hoard. he thoroughly believes his father is still alive, and is searching for him through the apocalypse ; a seemingly impossible task that he refuses to let go of..  the conjuring.  . finley stevens is a nationally recognized paranormal investigator and author, as well as a collector of cursed and possessed objects. he is a self taught and self confessed demonologist, who travels around and gives lectures on the supernatural, paranormal, and spiritual. he’s been on television and in magazines for his work with hauntings all across the united states, and though many believe him to be a wackjob, fin knows what is real and what isn’t. he lets no opinions get in the way of his work, and he gives his help with spirits and demons whenever it is needed..  true crime.  . instead of filming monster hunting, he does featurettes on true crime / serial killers with a focus on their victims, and getting the true story out there. this can work with scream and plots that deal with murderers..  vigilante.  . finley stevens is mothman, a vigilante that focuses on taking down corrupt officials and the top 1%. when he’s not working his night job, he’s a failing reporter who runs a spooky column in the local newspaper. this can fit with mcu / dc based plots.

crossover verses.

.  stranger things.  . with an old video camera, fin travels to hawkins to make perhaps the biggest discovery of his life, at the request of an old friend, jim hopper. it will be the perfect addition to his upcoming hunter’s guide. of course, he had no idea how he would kill whatever was lurking around this small town in indiana. and when he finally travels to hawkins, he realizes he’s in for a lot more than he expected..  it chapter 1  . finley, richie tozier’s cousin, comes to visit the summer that the losers’ lives go to shit. having already lost his mom to a monster, he knows that the signs point to something not quite human. determined to make sure that his own cousin doesn’t die in derry fucking maine, fin helps richie’s friends find whatever it is that’s taking and eating children. what they find, however, is not what finley expected..  it chapter 2  . finley only returned to derry because he heard of the new disappearances. he hadn’t remembered the place since that summer, but now that his channel was taking off, he thought this was the perfect opportunity to catch that clown thing on tape. he doesn’t expect to see his cousin, nor his friends there, but he soon realizes that they all have to work together once again to keep pennywise from taking any more innocent lives..  midsommar i.  . he knows of the festival, but not all of the specifics. it starts out as a passion project, researching and finding out as much as possible. so when the opportunity arises, when he meets albin, and is invited back to his home to participate, finley can’t refuse. seeing it as a once in a lifetime event, one that he could potentially document for his channel, there is no hesitation when he agrees. arriving, everything seems fine. he meets a few other tourists, as well as the folks who reside there. they explain that he cannot record, but intends to capture some kind of footage while he’s there. soon, however, he realizes that everything is not as it seems, and the midsommar festival is not as light and cheerful as he first expected. people begin to die. a lot of people. can he help them? or will he die trying?.  midsommar ii.  . finley was the only person actually there for dani after her family was found dead. he’s been a friend to the family for a long time, and he would never leave her in her time of grief. so when she asks if he’ll accompany them to sweden, he has no choice but to say yes, even when a gut feeling tells him that it was a bad idea. terrible things start happening, but fin only has one thought- keep dani safe. in the end, when christian is burned alive and dani is the may queen, fin either leaves and helps dani escape, or stays with her and the cult, becoming one of them, and taking care of her, even there. EXCLUSIVE VERSE TO FRIGHTES' DANI..  bioshock.  . born in rapture, finley and his parents grew up middle class and happy with what they had, as long as they were together. they realized finley’s fascination with dramatics when the kid began to make up plays and perform them for marcus and janette. some were tragedies, some comedies, but all were filled with impressive writing; all were entertaining. as time progressed, fin got a job at rapture records, assisting in the sale of records, record players, and jukeboxes. it’s here that he meets matthew du pont, a small radio producer looking for a host. overhearing finley making a few jokes to his coworkers, matthew offers 21 year old finley a job. the show quickly takes off, fin cracking jokes and telling stories, as well as giving a humorous take on politics and anything happening around the city. by 28, his face plasters posters around rapture, and people are coming to see him at the studio in poseidon plaza. fin often aids the 5th of november celebration, and takes care of his aging parents with the money he makes. he’s more than aware when rapture begins its downfall, and when the civil war begins, his only thought is to get his mother and father out of the city. unfortunately, he’s lost among the chaos and is forced to escape to the surface by himself, taking shelter in a lighthouse in the middle of the ocean. years later, he pledges to sink back down to rapture to find his parents. after seeing the plane crash in 1960, he hops a ride on the bathysphere with lone survivor jack, and travels back down to rapture, making a deal to help find atlas’s family, if jack helped to find finley’s. they find marcus and janette, but they are now splicers, and fin is forced to kill them. fin has never gotten any plasmids, but he’s very good with a weapon..  cyberpunk.  . all fin was trying to do was find his parents. that’s it. after traveling to night city, he hadn’t meant to get caught up with everest, the gang leader everyone had warned him about. but everest said he could help find the answers fin was looking for, as long as fin helped him in return. and finley was so desperate, that he believed him. now in the boss’s debt, fin gets deep into the life of crime, stealing, hacking, and looting for everest, after discovering that his parents were simply dead. and he doesn’t know how to get back out again..  doctor sleep.  . he’s seen this hat lady only twice, but both times, children have come up missing in the area. growing both curious and suspicious, finley can’t help but to stick his nose into this case, diving in deep, going after rose and her gang, trying to stop any more kids from ending up dead. he meets dan torrance in new hampshire, learning of the shine and what rose the hat was doing. eventually, fin will end up helping to defeat her, and the overlook hotel he’s learned so much about. after these events, his own shine grows- the gut feeling he always got wasn’t just a gut feeling, after all, but a sixth sense inside of him, trying to keep him out of danger..  resident evil 2.  . finley has a good friend in the raccoon city police department, one that has been feeding him information on umbrella corp for a long time. fin, a paranormal investigator known to expose corrupt companies doing experiments on humans, plans to dig deep into umbrella and learn what they’re doing inside of their walls. in september of 1998, fin receives a call from his friend in the force. he’s yelling about zombies and how raccoon city has been overrun by monsters that umbrella has inevitably created. having quite a bit of evidence and a tip off about the t virus, fin sneaks his way into the infested city to try and uncover their secrets, as well as hopefully help save whoever he can. unfortunately, zombies are the least of his problems, with once human and animalistic monsters ready to kill at every turn in raccoon city..  men in black.  . his parents disappeared the day after fin turned 18 to become men in black agents. and though the men in black were supposed to wipe all of his memories of them, something went wrong. over the years, finley began searching for his parents. the mib tried and failed several times to neuralize the man the closer he got to finding out about the organization, but fin left notes and reminders for himself so that he would remember where he left off. one day, he receives an envelope with nothing but a piece of paper with nothing but an address on it. knowing this had to be about his parents, fin met at the abandoned building, only to be met by several people in black suits. he finally learns about the men in black, and that his parents were decorated agents that had recently gone missing on a mission. they’ve been watching him from afar and want him to join the agency and help find his parents. fin is introduced to a whole new world of aliens and otherworldly things, and a task he was always destined for - saving the planet. open, but connected to @greenelight..  repo! the genetic opera.  . rotti largo has changed the world. for the worst. he promises to help finley find his father as long as fin works for rotti as the repo man - a night surgeon who takes back loaned organs. what finley doesn’t know is that rotti is keeping fin’s father captive so finley will continue to work for him..  bridgerton.  . finley just lost his parents and inherited everything. he moves from america to the ton to live and potentially find love. he’s a published author who creates ghost stories for the public..  scream.  . finley met christina carpenter in his brief stint in woodsboro, at a bar where the chemistry and the alcohol were high. he'd only slept with her once before he left town to tackle another case, but once was enough to get her pregnant. he hadn't thought of her in years, not until he was contacted about christina's daughter, tara. having been looking for immediate family, and doing a dna test after taking her blood, they informed him that he was her real father. with her parents gone, and her sister no where to be found, finley had a duty to take 12 year old tara in. it's not something he wanted to do, but there was a responsibility to take care of this kid. his kid. they travel around together for 6 years before they find themselves back in woodsboro for a case. he's only left her alone for a few hours, but that was long enough for an attack. suddenly, him and his estranged daughter are in a stupid horror movie, and it seems like they can't get out. fin has seen all the stab movies - and he isn't all that impressed with them. open, but exclusive to waested's tara..  the xfiles.  . agent stevens knows the truth is out there - and he's going to find it, despite what the rest of the fbi says about him. starting his own department based on paranormal, supernatural, and extraterrestrial phenomena, finley will stop at nothing to prove that humans aren't the only ones living in this galaxy..  yellowjackets.  . tba..  star wars.  . tba..  the lost boys.  . tba.
